Having a child with a diagnosis of autism is stressful for parents. It is very important that you realize that there is a lot you can do to help your child so he or she can thrive and gain the necessary skills required to live a full life with family, friends and in the community.

The ATN was established to provide a place for families to go for high quality, coordinated care for children and adolescents with autism and associated conditions.
The 100 Day Kit
The Autism Speaks 100 Day Kit for Newly Diagnosed Families of Young Children was created specifically for families to make the best possible use of the first 100 days following their child’s diagnosis of autism.
Autism Speaks Canada
This website provides information for parents, children and youth on various special needs including ASDs. Information includes parent tip sheets in different languages, educational videos and free downloadable visuals.
The Hanen Centre
Hanen is dedicated to addressing a pressing social problem – delays in language development in young children, including children with developmental delays and autism. Hanen provides workshops, programs and guidebooks for parents and professionals.
